Refund, Replacement & Warranty Policy
Last Updated: 23 October 2026
Welcome to Software Store. We provide digital products, software subscriptions, AI tools, developer tools, API credit packages and other digital services. This policy explains our approach to refunds, replacements, warranty claims and customer complaints.
1. Full Warranty (FW)
Products marked Full Warranty are eligible for support and consideration for replacement when a valid covered issue occurs during the advertised warranty period.
Covered issues may include:
- Invalid or non-working access supplied by us.
- A verified product-side activation or access failure.
- A product or plan that materially differs from the confirmed order.
- A covered loss of access during the stated warranty period.
We may first investigate the issue and provide reasonable troubleshooting. When a warranty claim is approved, we will generally provide a replacement where appropriate. If a suitable replacement cannot be provided, we will review another appropriate remedy, including a refund where applicable.
Warranty duration, coverage and exclusions can vary by product. Please check the product listing or ask our support team before purchasing if any term is unclear.
2. Non-Warranty (NW)
Products marked Non-Warranty do not include our additional seller-provided warranty or the usual warranty-based replacement commitment. Customers should review the product details carefully before ordering.
An NW label does not remove consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Issues such as non-delivery, misrepresentation or other legally covered problems may still qualify for an appropriate remedy.
3. Products Offering Refund and Replacement
Not every product has the same refund terms. Products eligible for both refund and replacement will be identified in the product listing, quotation or written order confirmation.
Depending on the product terms and circumstances, an approved claim may result in a replacement, a refund of the eligible amount, or another appropriate remedy agreed with the customer. A product is not automatically refundable merely because another product in our store offers refunds.
4. When May a Refund Be Available?
A refund may be considered in situations such as:
- Payment was made but the purchased product was not delivered.
- The delivered product materially differs from the confirmed order.
- A verified covered failure cannot be resolved through troubleshooting or a suitable replacement.
- We cannot fulfil the confirmed order.
- A duplicate or excess payment is verified.
- The product listing expressly provides a refund option that applies to the claim.
- A refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.
Each request is reviewed individually against the order details, product terms, available evidence and applicable law. Submitting a request does not automatically mean a refund has been approved.
5. When May a Refund Not Be Available?
Subject to applicable law and the stated product terms, a refund may not be available solely because a customer changes their mind after the product has been correctly delivered, accurately described and supplied in working condition.
Other circumstances that may affect eligibility include:
- The correct product and plan were supplied, but the customer selected the wrong option after the details were disclosed.
- The customer's device, account, region or software does not meet requirements disclosed before purchase.
- The issue was caused by misuse, unauthorised sharing or a breach of disclosed product terms.
- The reported issue is outside the stated warranty and is not otherwise eligible for a remedy under applicable law or contract.
These exclusions will not be used to deny any remedy that applicable law requires.
6. Digital Products, Subscriptions and API Packages
Our products may be delivered electronically, so there may be no physical item to return. Digital delivery does not remove the right to report non-delivery, defects, inaccurate product descriptions or other issues covered by applicable law.
For API packages, customers should review the advertised token allowance or credit value, validity period, usage conditions and applicable third-party restrictions before ordering.
Once digital access has been issued, activated or used, a change-of-mind refund may not be available unless the product terms expressly allow it or a refund is otherwise required by applicable law. Third-party service outages may require investigation and do not automatically determine refund eligibility.
7. How to Request a Refund or Replacement
Contact us using the support email address or WhatsApp number published on our website. Please provide:
- Your order reference or transaction ID.
- The product name and plan purchased.
- The purchase or delivery date.
- A clear explanation of the problem.
- Relevant screenshots or error messages, if available.
- Payment confirmation, where relevant.
We may request reasonable additional information to verify the order and investigate the claim. Never send passwords, OTPs, payment PINs, full payment-card details or secret API keys.
8. Investigation and Verification
Our team may perform reasonable checks to determine whether the issue relates to the supplied product, falls within the warranty and can be resolved by troubleshooting or replacement.
Customers should cooperate reasonably during the investigation. Verification will not be used to impose unreasonable barriers to a remedy required by applicable law.
9. Replacement Process
When a replacement is approved, we will communicate the expected delivery or activation process. We will generally aim to supply the same product and plan. If unavailable, we will discuss a suitable alternative with the customer before substituting it.
A replacement does not automatically restart the warranty period unless the product terms or applicable law provide otherwise.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be returned using the original payment method wherever reasonably possible and technically supported. The time taken for funds to appear may depend on the bank, payment provider or payment channel.
We will process refunds within the period required by applicable law and communicate any known processing delay. A refund is not considered approved merely because a request was submitted or acknowledged.
11. Third-Party Services
Some products depend on third-party software providers, account systems, APIs or subscription services. Their terms, availability, eligibility requirements and service interruptions may affect use.
We will investigate reported issues within the scope of the product supplied and the commitments made. Third-party involvement does not automatically exclude a valid claim or a remedy required by applicable law.
12. Order Cancellation
Contact support as soon as possible if you need to cancel. If digital delivery has not started, we will review whether cancellation is possible under the order terms and applicable law. Once access has been delivered or activated, the request may be assessed under this refund policy.
13. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or override any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian consumer protection laws. If any part of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, that requirement will prevail.
14. Contact and Complaints
For refund requests, replacement claims or warranty issues, use the support contact details published on our website. Include your order reference and a clear explanation of the issue.
We aim to review complaints fairly and communicate the next steps. Complaints will be handled within applicable legal timelines.
15. Please Check Product-Specific Terms
Before purchasing, review whether the product is marked FW or NW, the applicable warranty period, and whether it is replacement-only or eligible for both refund and replacement. Product-specific terms should be clearly disclosed before purchase.
